Arfa Iron and steel Co. is capable of producing or preparing for production of more than 20 different grades of steel, through vacuum degassing and vacuum oxygen decarburization (VD-VOD) plants. Relying on a staff of experienced metallurgy experts, the company is also ready to produce various steel grades based on different standards, including DIN of Germany, BS of UK, JIS of Japan, and ASTM of US, and even design special grades to satisfy customer needs.
The company is capable of producing steel ingots of 130, 150 and 200 mm cross-section, with a length of 6 to 12 meters (upon request).
The chemical composition of some of the grades that has been or can be produced by Arfa Iron and steel Co. can be seen in the table below:
- 130mm x 130mm rectangular steel ingots, with a length of 12m, weighting 1590kg each
- 150mm x 150mm rectangular steel ingots, with a length of 12m, weighting 1116kg each
- 200mm x 200mm rectangular steel ingots, with a length of 12m, weighting 3710kg each

  • ARFA Iron & Steel co. is able to produce all mentioned steel grades with vacuum degassing (VD) treatment. Maximum dissolved hydrogen in VD-Treated steels will be 2 ppm.
  • Upon the agreement with the customer, steel grades chemical compositions are negotiable.
  • All constructional steel grades with carbon content between 0.08 – 0.80% are producible.
  • Upon the agreement with the customers, marking is made by stamping the billet face.
